Object "Datura"Borosilicate glass. Lampwork, silver fuming. 29x21х 22 cm. 2026. The work reproduces the morphology of the datura fruit - a spherical capsule with a distinctly spiked surface. The structural characteristics of the form are preserved and translated into a transparent glass medium. The composition includes three forms corresponding to different stages of maturation, ranging from a more closed and compact structure to an opened shell. In this way, the dynamic process of development is articulated within a single object. Silver fuming generates a warm internal tone that develops within the volume and enhances the perception of depth. The contrast between transparent and toned areas emphasizes the relationship between the fragility of the material and the tension of the surface.
