“Object F60.8” as the outcome of the master’s research project entitled

“The Aesthetics of Aggression in Artistic Ceramics of the 20th–21st Centuries.”

Ceramics, for me, is both a challenge and a discovery. At first glance, the material appears pliable, promising limitless possibilities. Yet upon closer observation it proves demanding, requiring full commitment to the process. Each piece becomes a meticulous exploration of the boundaries of clay, glaze, and firing techniques. Experiments with glazes serve as a means of expanding my artistic palette, allowing me to investigate texture, color, swelling, and chromatic responses.

Over the years, however, I have found myself increasingly drawn to simplicity, to recognizing beauty in the material itself. Minimalism emerged for me as a natural evolution—an answer to the overwhelming influx of information in contemporary society. In a world oversaturated with stimuli and visual noise, I seek calm within minimalism, a space where both the eye and the mind may rest.

My objects are the result of my ongoing struggle for control over the material. In every project, I confront the perennial question: do I control the clay, or does it control me?
